Subsidies
At Heavenly Haven, we believe all children deserve access to education, regardless of income.
That’s why we accept subsidies from a variety of sources, including:
Department of Social Services (Cumberland and surrounding counties)
Partnership for Children of Cumberland County
Military subsidy
Fayetteville Technical Community College subsidy
Partnership for Children of Cumberland County
Heavenly Haven is proud to have won several awards from the Partnership for Children of Cumberland County for our various programs and services in child care. This organization is a non-profit that aims to prepare children for school through Smart Start, a program designed to get students ahead at a young age, Child Care Resources & Referrals, NC Pre-K—which we offer at Heavenly Haven, among several other educational programs —to ensure all children have access to the education they deserve, despite economic standing.
Action Pathways (Head Start)
We are excited to work with Action Pathways at Heavenly Haven through the Head Start program. Action Pathways is a financial assistance organization that helps fund education and also helps clients gain employment and become financially stable and comfortable. Head Start is a federally funded program that is focused on child development in children from birth to age five. It provides free education and social opportunity for children who are financially eligible. This includes special needs children and women who are pregnant. Children in the program receive free breakfast, lunch and snack. The goal is to prepare these children for public school, so no child will fall behind in school because of his or her financial situation. To determine if you are eligible the Head Start program or to find out how to enroll, please visit Action Pathway’s information page.
Our programs, services, and access to The Creative Curriculum for Preschool have helped so many children achieve success in school, and with these resources, all children can have access to education and a lifelong love of learning.
